Colorful Christmas at Crayola Experience Orlando

I honestly thought we had experienced all of the Christmas that central Florida has to offer, and then we found Colorful Christmas at The Crayola Experience in Orlando. We have been wanting to go to Crayola Experience for years, I’m glad we made their Colorful Christmas our first trip.

Why Colorful Christmas?

There is just something about Christmas that makes experiences extra special. The girls loved that the crayons they met were dressed in holiday costumes, they got to go inside of a life-size snow globe, their were talking snowmen and reindeer around every corner, and the areas were named fun Christmasey names like “Hue Ville”. They’d have loved The Crayola Experience no matter what, but the Christmas touches made it even better.

It’s not just fun at Christmas though!

We can’t wait to go visit The Crayola Experience again, even after Christmas. There was so much to do there. The boys really loved the toddler climbing area, and the girls loved the climbing area designed for older kids. There was a really fun drip art area, an area where they could make and name their own crayons, a silly selfie station, computers that could make your drawings come to life, cameras that could put your own images on a coloring page, a life-size kaleidoscope, and they gave them each their own Scribble Scrubie that they loved coloring and washing! There was so much more too, I’m sure we missed some of it!

We loved The Crayola Experience, and if you’re ever in Orlando you should add this to your list of things to do. It can be a struggle for me to find stuff that the little kids and the big kids can enjoy at the same time, but this place hit the spot.

Also, I truly believe in the power of play. I believe that playing is a child’s job. It is how they learn. It is the most important thing for them. I was so happy to see this sign when I left. Knowing that Crayola shares my values made me feel even better about our visit.
